OPPORTUNITIES & RESPONSIBILIITIES

  • Advocacy & Social Impact

    Promotes her chosen community service initiative (formerly a "platform"), raising awareness and advocating for local, state, and national change. This could involve collaborating with charities, government officials, corporations, and other organizations.

  • Public Speaking & Appearances

    Makes numerous public appearances across her reigning county and state, including speaking engagements, fundraisers, and community events.

  • Media & Interviews

    Participates in television, radio, and print media interviews, discussing her role, advocacy work, and experiences.

  • Organization Representation

    Serves as an ambassador for the Miss America Organization, attending official events, participating in fundraising efforts, and promoting the organization's scholarships and initiatives.

  • Community Engagement

    She visits schools, hospitals, and nonprofit organizations, inspiring young people and supporting various causes.

  • Scholarship & Education

    As the recipient of the Miss America scholarship, she may continue her education during or after her reign.

  • Corporate & Brand Partnerships

    Goes into the community to connect with sponsors and partners of the Miss America Organization, helping promote their initiatives and causes while strengthening relationships that make a lasting impact.

  • Preparing for Competitions

    Throughout her reign, she prepares for appearances and competitions, ensuring she represents the organization well and is ready for various engagements.

  • Mentorship & Sisterhood

    Mentors participants in the Miss America’s Little Sisters Program, providing guidance, inspiration, and support to future contestants and young girls who aspire to follow in her footsteps.
